The biggest changes in a generation are coming to youth football for the 2026/27 season. Read on for details and where to go for more information.
The key changes are as follows:

The Under 7 age group will play 3 v 3 games instead of 5 v 5

​Under 8s and Under 9s will play 5 v 5 games

Under 10s and Under 11s will play 7 v 7 games
-
Under 12s and Under 13s will play 9 v 9 games (including offsides and headers)

Under 14s and above will play 11 v 11 games
